Chris and the rest of the Casscells family,
It was such a privilege to count Trippy as a friend through Tower Hill and beyond. He was one of those rare, down to earth people who you could see after many years absence, and a minute later, feel as if you had always been with him. Beyond that, he also had that very special gift of bringing something upbeat and positive to any situation.
I’m so sorry for your loss, and you are all in my thoughts.
All the best,
Bob McKennon
The 14th of October 2012 will always be an important date for me both personally and professionally. I’ve been a physician, public health official, disaster relief aid worker and humanitarian aid consultant for 30 years. I was also lucky, fortunate and privileged to have worked with Trip Casscells in many places and in many capacities all over the world. I will miss him dearly. As friend, colleague, mentor and role model. For the past several years, there have been very few days that passed when I did not think of him. Mostly it was “What would Trip do in this situation…”. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
